About Veterans Empowerment Fairs
Presented by Hancock County Veterans Service Office

Veterans Empowerment Fairs were established by the Hancock County Veterans Service Office to raise awareness of resources available to serve those who served. 

With each Veterans Empowerment Fair, we bring together a range of resource organizations to have information booths with representatives available to tell visitors about their programs in areas ranging from wellness and finances to home/environment, growth, and life resources. 

Additionally, our winter, spring, summer, and fall Veterans Empowerment Fairs will focus on topics like veteran employment, recruiting and retention, and helping companies strengthen their veteran resource groups. 

 Please help us get the word out about this FREE event by sharing info with your employees and community members – all are welcome to attend and explore!

WHAT: Veterans Empowerment Fair and Family Picnic – Summer 2024

WHEN: Saturday, August 3 at 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

WHERE: Owens Community College

WHY:  With Empowerment Fairs, our objective is to serve those who served.
