The Ohio Promise is an educational program that allows any veteran to attend any state supported school in the State of Ohio and pay in-state resident rates. The State of Ohio provides several benefits to totally disabled veterans, to include free license plates, hunting and fishing licenses, and others. Purple Heart veterans may obtain Purple Heart license plates for motorcycles, trucks, or cars.
