SUMMARY:Operation Green Light for Veterans 2025
DESCRIPTION:Join NA Co\, NACVSO and the Hancock County \nAmerica’s counties have a long and proud history of serving our nation’s veterans\, a legacy that continues to this day as we work with our federal\, state and local partners to ensure that the former service members have access to the resources they need to thrive.   \nPLEASE CONSIDER ILLUMINATING YOUR FRONT PORCH\, OFFICE WINDOW OR BUILDINGS GREEN TO SHOW SUPPORT AND APPRECIATION FOR VETERANS.  AND\, HOPEFULLY THAT GREEN LIGHT WILL INITIATE CONVERSATIONS THAT ALLOW US ALL TO REFER VETERANS AND THEIR FAMILIES TO THE HANCOCK COUNTY VETERANS SERVICE OFFICE.  WE LIKE TO MEET WITH VETERANS AT LEAST ONCE EVERY THREE YEARS BECAUSE 1) THEIR HEALTH MAY CHANGE\, 2) THE LAWS MAY CHANGE\, AND 3) THEIR FINANCIAL SITUATION MAY CHANGE AND ALL OF THOSE THINGS CAN IMPACT THE BENEFITS A VETERAN OR SURVIVING DEPENDENT MAY BE ELIGIBLE FOR FROM LOCAL\, STATE AND FEDERAL RESOURCES. \nOnce again this Veterans Day\, the National Association of Counties (NACo) and the National Association of County Veterans Service Officers (NACVSO) invite the nation’s 3\,069 counties\, parishes\, and boroughs to join Operation Green Light and show support for veterans by lighting our buildings green from November 4-11\, 2025. By shining a green light\, county governments and our residents will let veterans know that they are seen\, appreciated and supported.

SUMMARY:Operation Green Light for Veterans
\nOnce again this Veterans Day\, the National Association of Counties (NACo) and the National Association of County Veterans Service Officers (NACVSO) invite the nation’s 3\,069 counties\, parishes\, and boroughs to join Operation Green Light and show support for veterans by lighting our buildings green from November 4-11\, 2024. By shining a green light\, county governments and our residents will let veterans know that they are seen\, appreciated and supported.
